Next weekend, I’ll be sharing a keynote address with Philadelphia Yearly Meeting, working title: “Building Hubs of Climate Resilience: Will Friends Act in Radical Faithfulness?” In preparation for that, Friends asked me a few questions and posted an interview with me that you can find here. These were challenging questions, such as whether I ever feel a conflict between my roles as a minister and as an environmental advocate, whether I think faith can be used to resolve divisions, and the kind of future I wish for.
I’m excited for the opportunity to share with Philadelphia Friends for their annual sessions, which runs July 27–August 1, and is focused on Micah 6:8 with the theme: “Act Justly, Love Mercy, Walk Humbly.” My keynote address will be on Saturday, July 31, starting at 4:30pm Eastern.
