Friend Damon Motz-Storey and I have both been involved in climate justice organizing and advocacy in Oregon for the last few years in different organizations. We got together and wrote an article about our experiences advocating, organizing, and taking to the streets to participate in activist pressure and community building in Oregon. The article is called “Friends in Oregon Advocate for Climate Justice,” and Friends Journal published it as an online feature as part of their May 2022 issue on Climate Activism and Sustainability. This issue also includes a bunch of great articles, many of them from the Student Voices project.
